Redundancies in Macael, Almeria

The Council in Macael, Almeria, will today announce who will stay and who will go under an ERE presented several weeks ago. As many as 18 of the 60 Council employees could be made redundant.

NH Hotels plans 95 redundancies in Andalucia

The ERE (Employment Regulation) presented by NH Hotels will affect 95 employees at five hotels in Andalucia. Nationwide, the ERE will affect a total of 646 employees as the company seeks to make savings of around €17 million.

Caixabank to shed 3,002 jobs

Caixabank is anticipating shedding a total of 3,002 staff as part of a restructuring plan following the integration of Banca Civica and the incorporation of the Banco de Valencia. Andalucia is the region most affected by the workforce adjustment with a total of 864 casualties.

Roca Sanitario to shed 476 jobs

Roca Sanitari has notified employees of its intention to implement redundancies at its plants in Alcalá de Guadaira  (Sevilla) and Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), a move affecting 476 workers.

The Association of Paradors has announced the start of ERE (Employment Regulation) negotiations which are expected to result in 644 redundancies nationwide, the amendment of 856 contracts and the closure or conversion of several facilities.

Autobuses Portillo names 76 staff to be made redundant

The Portillo bus company has now delivered the names of 76 staff who are to be made redundant as a result of the current economic crisis. The redundancies are spread over all departments of the company, from drivers to administrators, and mainly affects those with permanent contracts and those over 60 years of age and who are facing retirement anyway.
