The municipal statisticians have been hard at work once more following the end of the official summer bathing season.

Easter 2014 statistics

According to the Council statisticians, hotel occupancy over Semanana Santa exceeded 95%, particularly from Thursday to Saturday when the rate hit 95.82%. During the same period last year the figure was 85.20%.

A relatively uneventful summer on the beaches

According to the Council it has been a pretty uneventful  summer season on the beaches of the municipality as far as incidents are concerned, which is a good thing.

Tourist Office figures in Torremolinos

A total of 7,186 people visited the tourist offices, of which there are four, in Torremolinos during December 2012, a slight decrease compared to the previous year. By nationality, the leading info seekers were the British, closely followed by the Spanish and then much lower numbers of French, German, Dutch and Finnish.
