SEPLA has called off the twice-weekly strikes by Iberia pilots ahead of Government arbitration in the dispute.
More strikes planned at Iberia
The strike by Iberia pilots is set to continue with the announcement of 28 new days of industrial action, these being every Monday and Friday from April 9th to July 20th.
SEPLA calls off strike action
The Union of Spanish Airline Pilots, SEPLA, has apparently called off its industrial action following a government brokered agreement with the airline Iberia. A total of 24 days of strike action had been scheduled over the next three months.

Iberia pilots have called another 24 one-day strikes during the next three months as part of their continuing protest at the airline’s plans to set up a low-cost airline, Iberia Express.

Iberia has cancelled a total of 289 flights during the next upcoming strikes planned by the pilots union SEPLA, these being scheduled to take place on January 25th, 27th and 30th.

Strike by Italian air traffic controllers will cause disruption of flights between Italy and Spain
A four hour strike today by Italian air controllers will result in some disruption to flights between Italy and Spain, with Iberia already having cancelled four flights.
Partial strikes at Sevilla airport
The airport authority AENA has stressed that Sevilla airport will be able to operate normally during a series of partial strikes which began this morning, Thursday, and are expected to continue on Novmber 17th, 18th, 25th and December 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Rail strikes in Andalucia planned for Monday and Thursday
Around 215 RENFE trains of all types will be affected in Andalucia on Monday September 26th and Thursday September 29th as a result of strike action by the CCOO union.
