Writing Contest on the Spanish Constitution

The Department of Citizen Participation has organized a Writing Competition for students from any of the four years of ESO or any of the two years of Bachillerato, the subject being the Spanish Constitution.

Málaga university tourism students visit Nerja

A group of around 50 students from the faculty of Tourism at Malaga University have visited Nerja to study and investigate the tourism model used by the municipality and to see what attractions the town has to offer.

Municipal assistance for student transport

The registration period is now open for students who want to apply for transportation assistance for the academic year 2013/14. The municipal assistance is for students who use the bus as a regular means to access academic centres outside the town.

Protests against education cutbacks

This is a week of protests and action in the education sector in Andalucia, with strikes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday called by the Students Union and protests all over the region called in conjunction with the Spanish Confederation of Parents’ Associations (APEC).

Laptop programme in Andalucia drastically reduced

The Education Department of the Junta de Andalucia has announced an adjustment to the programme whereby laptops are provided to all pupils from Primary 5th to Secondary 2nd. It’s not going to happen.
