The Education Department of the Junta de Andalucia has announced an adjustment to the programme whereby laptops are provided to all pupils from Primary 5th to Secondary 2nd. It’s not going to happen.
Due to budgetary reasons, only 27,500 laptops, instead of 90,000, will be distributed to students. In addition, the laptops will be assigned to schools and not to the pupils themselves, allowing multiple use of the machines.
