The construction of a private hospital in the Calaceite area of Torrox Costa has stalled due to problems with financing.

Multi-purpose centre in Torrox could be open by April
Torrox Council has finally reached an agreement with the company Pefersán S. A. regarding the new multi-purpose centre in Torrox Costa. The Council has agreed to pay outstanding monies to the company, a total of €501,000, before the end of the year and this means the inauguration of the new centre could take place before the end of April.
FINISHED AT LAST, BUT NEEDS REPAIRS!
Torrox Council is refusing to take delivery, as it were, of the new promenade at Los Llanos until the Department of Coasts remedies a number of deficiencies.
