The Guardia Civil is investigating the death of a 33-year-old man who apparently dropped dead after a struggle with a barman in Totalán.
New swimming pool for Totalán
Totalán now has a municipal swimming pool, the project costing €600,000 and financed by the regional, provincial and municipal authorities. The facility has a multi-purpose pool, splash pool, changing rooms, reception area and lifeguards.
Completion of Torre del Violín in Totalán
The town of Totalán now has two new cultural and recreational areas after the completion of a €100,000 project which has resulted in the construction of the Torre del Violín and the mirador (viewpoint) El Zagal. The project consisted of creating a recreational area with a two-storey tower equipped with two exhibition halls and a viewing terrace.
Stabilisation of watchtower in Totalán
The Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía has invested €67,000 in a project to stabilise the old Salazar Moorish watchtower in Totalán.

An 80 year old man who went missing several days ago in Totalán has been found safe and well.
