An attempted robbery at a grocery store in calle Santa Clara in the Zaidín district of Granada on Saturday left one of the alleged robbers dead and the shop owner wounded.

A man in his thirties died this morning as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning during a fire on the ninth floor of an apartment block in Avenida de América in the Zaidín district of Granada. The fire was detected at around 09:00 this morning and necessitated the evacuation of the building.
