Water levels

The rains of the past weeks are pointing towards an end to the drought situation that has persisted in Spain throughout the past lustrum.

Reservoirs in Andalucía now have sufficient water stored to guarantee supplies to the local population for the next three years and, for the first time in four years, there is enough water to meet the demand of farmers. The authorities are still being cautious about actually lifting the drought decree, although restrictions have been eased considerably.
