Meson de Julio is located on calle Cristo, close to the Post Office.
It has a nice street terrace and doubles both as a tapas bar and a restaurant.
Nice decor, quite spacious and the tapas, free with drinks, are excellent. A beer and a tapa will set you back €1.70 (August 2011).
The tapas are free if you are at the bar itself or the barrel tables, not at the dining tables or outside.
Nice place, lacks in atmosphere as a tapas bar sometimes however the tapas are plentiful, varied and always offered free with a drink, with friendly service.
