Sunday November 16th was the X Seabed and Beach Cleaning Session, the event taking place a little later than normal due to the extended summer season.
As a result, the state of the sea was not optimal and the waves and poor visibility meant that activities were confined to the beach areas of El Playazo, El Salon and Maro.
Around fifty volunteers took part and gathered fifty kilos of debris, mostly plastics, from the beaches in the municipality. All participants received a t-shirt, a diploma and lunch at the beach.
