Nine migrants have perished, three of them babies, after their small boat capsized about two miles off the Moroccan coast.
Thirty migrants set off for Spain but did not get very far, their boat being wrecked two miles from Punta Malabata near Tangiers.
The survivors, twelve men and nine women, were rescued by the Moroccan Royal Navy.
