A 30 year old Rumanian man is in a serious condition in hospital after setting himself on fire in front of his partner’s house in Almería. He has second and third degree burns to 90% of his body.
Residents and passers by, alerted by screams, went to help the man until the Emergency Services arrived, dousing him with water and wrapping him in blankets.
Apparently, the man and his Spanish partner had recently been having a series of serious arguments which yesterday culminated in the issuing of restraining orders by the court.
