A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of shop assistant Dolores Amaya Ramírez in Chiclana on February 14th.
Guardia Civil officers have arrested a 24 year old man, initials JMJS, after a number of witnesses to the incident provided valuable information. The man, who has a criminal record, is also thought to have robbed a clothes shop in calle Jesús Nazareno on the same day.
After being detained in connection with the robbery of the clothes shop, a police search of his house revealed several items of evidence which related to the killing at the bedding store in calle Cuesta del Matadero. JMJS has apparently admitted responsibility for both events, stating that robbery was the sole motive.
