The definitive stabilisation of Ferrara Playa in Torrox has been postponed.
The plans to stabilise Ferrara Playa to avoid the perpetual erosion and destruction caused by bad weather have been put on hold and for a minimum of two years.
The mayor of Torrox, Toñi Claros, and the Councillor for Beaches, José Pérez, announced the news yesterday after attending a meeting with the Department of Coasts. It would seem that the Department of Coasts has several outstanding projects, all of which are still awaiting environmental impact reports before anything can be done.
