ETA explosives cache found

The Guardia Civil has located an explosives cache thought to belong to ETA’s ‘comando Vizcaya’.

The explosives, 120 kilos worth, were discovered in a hideout between the towns of Santo Domingo de La Calzada and  Ezcaray. They included nitromethane, a substance used to produce the explosive amonitol. ETA stole 2,000 litres of nitromethane in France in 2007.

There was also another arrest relating to ‘comando Vizcaya’, making ten detentions in all. Inge Urrutia was arrested in Getxo for her alleged connection with ‘comando Vizcaya’.
