In response to a question posed by the Opposition PSOE spokesman Ángel Ramírez, the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo confrimed that approval had been given for the change of location of the proposed new health centre.
The Consultative Council of Andalucía has apparently returned the file relating to the project and the modifications to the PGOU which would be necessary to allow for its construction.
The council’s legal department will now study the matter in order to find a formula to put this into practice. In the meantime, the mayor will be requesting a meeting with the Health delegate, Maria Antigua Escalera.
