The judge at the Court of Instruction Number 1 in Marbella, Ricardo Pujol, has ordered two Local Police officers to be detained in custody without the possibility of bail.
The two officers are accused of assault, failure to report a crime and trafficking in drugs. Four other officers, accused of failing to report a crime, were provisionally released after making their first court appearance.
The court heard how the two officers would visit an establishment known as ‘La Casita Azul’ (the Blue House) for the purpose of using drugs. In addition, a woman testified that she supplied drugs to the two officers for onward sale.
The two men are also accused of assaulting, both violently and sexually, a local prostitute working at La Casita Azul.
