The Market Traders resumed their protests yesterday, marching through the streets before congregating outside the Town Hall.
It is now 18 weeks without a weekly market in Nerja and no sign of an end to the dispute, both sides equally determined not to give in. The Market Traders Association. AVAM, has obtained permission to stage weekly protests throughout November. They are also hoping to meet with the owners of the Los Huertos de Carabeo land to try and persuade them to allow the land to be used, at the very least, as a temprorary site for the market.
