A bit of a stir at the Health Centre in Alhaurín de la Torre on Saturday night which ended up with staff being threatened and one person being detained by the police.
It started when a young couple arrived at the centre, one of whom was suffering from stab wounds. While the staff were attending to the wounded youth, a third person entered carrying a knife and threatened to kill not only the couple, but also all the occupants of the centre.
Fortunately, members of the Guardia Civil and Local Police arrived on the scene and were able to detain the assailant.
A full police investigation of the incident is underway.
