Two Colombians were arrested in Torre del Mar following a disturbance at the local Health Centre.
The two men were fighting and when the police intervened to separate them, one of them began assaulting the officers. He then attempted to escape, but was apprehended and has been charged with assaulting a police officer, disobedience and resisting arrest.
The second Colombian was also arrested after it was discovered that there was an outstanding arrest warrant in his name.
The police officers suffered various bruises during the incident and one of the Colombians suffered an injury to his knee.
Presumably the reason so many people seem to start fights in Health Centres these days is that they then don’t have far to go if they end up getting injured.
