A 53 year old woman from Mojácar, Almería, died yesterday afternoon after a gas bottle exploded and set fire to her home in calle El Palmeral.
The explosion and subsequent fire occurred at 13:30 yesterday and the woman’s body was found by the emergency services. The interior of the room in which the explosion occurred was totally burned and there was also structural damage.
