The spokesperson for the Opposition PSOE and head of the Nerja Caves Foundation, Ángel Ramírez, has been pressing the Council to speed-up proceedings relating to the transfer of lands for the proposed new botanical gardens at the Nerja Caves.
The spokesperson for the PP Council and Councillor for Tourism, José Miguel García, responded by stating that the Mayor, José Alberto Armijo, has been in communication, both in writing and in person, with the former CEO of the Department of Environment, Ignacio Trillo, and his successor, Remedios Martel, on several occasions and any delay is down to the Junta de Andalucía.
Nothing changes.
