Two dead in shooting incident in Olula del Río, Almería

There seems to be rather a lot of shootings going on all over the place these days. In Olula del Río, Almería, the 47 year old proprietor of a stone carving company has been arrested after shooting dead two armed men who entered his premises.

José Antonio G.G., owner of Mármoles Ballester, was at the premises when two armed men, 52 year old Petronilo R.T. and his nephew, 19 year old Juan Petronilo R.F. , entered. An experienced hunter, and having a shotgun to hand, José Antonio G.G. shot the pair dead.

The two deceased men, from Albox, apparently belong to a gypsy clan known as ‘Los Pertolos’ and could have been attempting to extort money from the businessman. The police presence in the area has been stepped up to prevent any possible reprisals by the clan.
