Two women were injured on Friday, one of them requiring hospital treatment, after an electrical fault caused a train on the Lora del Río to Utrera line to brake sharply.
The local train was traveling towards Utrera when an electrical fault caused the pantograph to become disconnected, causing it to suddenly slow down. The rest of the passengers, about 150 in total, had to be transferred to another train on a different line as the fault could not be immediately rectified.
