The Councilor for Beaches, Jonathan Méndez, has announced that the municipal beaches are in ‘perfect condition’ for the summer season, both in terms of services and the suitability of the water for bathing.
In addition, the Councilor announced that a new, more efficient system is now in place in some 60 shower units on the beaches and this will result in a water saving of around 50%. The excess water will be available for irrigation purposes.
One can only assume (hope) that ‘perfect condition’ does not relate to El Chucho beach.
