The Nerja Council has approved a project to improve the area around the site for the new Health Centre, including the construction of a roundabout in calle Puente Viejo.
The Council plans to invest €1,124,194 of its own funds in the project. All five plots of land are now under the control of the municipal authority, the last two landowners having signed the deeds of transfer last Friday.
The Mayor is now requesting a meeting with the Delegate for Health, María Antigua Escalera, in order to discuss the project further and to get things underway.
