At the Andalucían athletics championships for juniors held at the stadio Iberoamericano in Huelva, local athletes from the Club Nerja de Atletismo,Cueva de Nerja-UMA, came back with thirteen medals including three gold.
Gold:
Elisardo de Haro in the 100 metres, Emilio Rodríguez in the 600 metres and Candela Guijarro in the high jump.
Silver:
Antonio J. González in polevault and javelin, Ángel Antequera in the discus disco and hammer, Belén Lara in the 300 metres and Maite Berlanga in the 3000 metres.
Bronze:
Sergio Rubio in the polevault, José Manuel Dieguez in the 300 metres hurdles, Miguel A. Fregenal in the javelin and Belén Lara in the long jump.
