Residents in calle Doctor Marañón in Torre del Mar have not had the best of starts to the summer, many having to keep their windows closed in order to avoid being bitten to death by mosquitoes.
A plague of mosquitoes has been affecting the area since the beginning of the summer, caused by a build-up of stagnant rain water in the street’s water pipes.
The Council has now cleaned the collectors and they hope that this will help solve the problem.
