La Giaconda in calle Dr Fleming (between calle Málaga and avenida Castilla Perez), which has both an ice cream parlour and a restaurant, has not opened so far this year so one can only assume they have decided to call it a day. No sign of renovations, at least from the outside.
It was always a popular restaurant in the summer and had a nice terrace.
The Speakeasy on calle Málaga is closed for the month of August, as they do every year, and reopens on September 1st.
