Three ETA members have been arrested at a ski resort in France.
Alberto Machaín Beraza has been wanted by the authorities ever since the bombings in Burgos and Mallorca. He was sentenced to one year in prison in 2003 for the glorification of terrorism after placing a banner on a street in Pamplona expressing support for two ETA members who died when their car, loaded with explosives, blew up.
The other two detainees, Aitzol Etxaburu and Andoni Sarasola, have frequently appeared on ‘wanted’ posters.
