Rain has been putting a damper on the feria celebrations in Vélez-Málaga and as a result, visitor numbers are said to be down on last year.
There are 45 bars operating in the centre of the feria and most have no shelter for customers, which means revenue is down. The rain began at lunchtime on Saturday.
Next year, the authorities have decided to make the celebrations a little late, starting on Wednesday 29 September and ending on Sunday October 3rd with October 1st as the local holiday.
