Nine in a row for Spain

It’s nine wins in a row for Spain after a 2-1 win against Armenia in their World Cup qualifier on Saturday.

Fábregas opened the scoring after half an hour, running on to a through ball from Xavi and chipping the ball over the Armenian keeper.

Arzumanyan equalised for Armenia ten minutes into the second half, heading home a free kick, but Mata was brought down a few minutes later and the Valencian striker made no mistake from the penalty spot and Spain were back in front, where they remained until the final whistle.
