French National Police officers have arrested a suspected ETA member near the town of Poitiers after his car broke down.
Police went to assist a driver whose damaged Volkswagen Golf had broken down and discovered that he was an alleged member of ETA. The driver was carrying a .38 calibre revolver.
This is the third detention of suspected ETA members in France during the past week.
