Missing youths found safe and well

Three people, aged 19 years, 21 years and 29 years, who went missing in the Montes de Málaga have been found safe and well.

The three men had set off on a cycling expedition but had elected not to take warm or waterproof clothing, despite the inclement weather conditions.

They became lost and called the authorities, a large-scale search then being carried out by members of the Málaga Fire Department, Guardia Civil, National Police, Local Police, Civil Defence and the Andalucia Rescue Group.

Elsewhere, in the Fuente de la Reina area, several people had to be rescued after their vehicles became stuck in the snow and in El Torcal, Antequera, around thirty people had to be rescued from their vehicles.
