In safe hands

It is reassuring to know that if Sarah Palin were to be elected President we would be in safe hands.

CO-HOST: How would you handle a situation like the one that just developed in North Korea?

PALIN: But obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies. We’re bound to by treaty…

CO-HOST: South Korean.

PALIN: Eh, Yeah. And we’re also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes.

Whether such a gaffe should be taken seriously or not is open to debate, after all, she could probably only see North Korea from her balcony. Especially when you take into account the number of gaffes made by former presidents, or one in particular.

There are those who argue that Sarah Palin probably can’t even spell Afghanistan, let alone find it on a map. There are also those who think this is absolutely untrue and that she would more likely have trouble spelling the word ‘map’.

Then again, maybe she just wants to make everyone an ally and save a lot of aggravation.
