The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, has announced the start of the process to develop a 170,640 square metre area of land in Fuente del Baden which will see the construction of up to 425 houses and a hotel.
The land is the largest area available for development under the current PGOU and other plans.
The Council has municipal lots totalling 17,736 square metres which will be destined for sports equipment and another 17,736 square metres is destined as ‘green’ areas. The Council will have land available to build 42 houses and there will also be VPO (subsidised) housing.
The development project has a budget of €4.5 million and an execution period of 12 months.
