Renovation work on avenida Toré Toré in Torre del Mar is now finished with the ‘new avenue’ now boasting 240 parking places, cycle lanes in both directions, a landscaped central reservation and wide pavements to accommodate bar and restaurant terraces.
The works, costing €600,000 and taking five months to complete, were carried out under the first Plan Zapatero and provided work for seventeen people.
The project also included the construction of two new roundabouts at the junctions with calle Copo and calle Infante.
