The PSOE in Cómpeta has accused the PP government of allowing the use of ravines and other areas as rubbish tips and landfills without exercising any control over the situation, thus damaging the image of the town and creating a potential health hazard.
The PSOE believe that the reason behind the situation is a lack of rubbish containers in the municipality.
The Mayor of Cómpeta, José Luis Torres, denies that there is a problem and says that Cómpeta is one of the cleanest towns in the Axarquia.
Shouldn’t be difficult to prove, one way or another.
