Torrox Council has initially awarded the contract to supply and install 397 seats for the new Municipal Theatre to the company Sociedad Cooperativa Obrera Ezcaray.
The theatre is under construction near the IES Jorge Guillén and the CEIP Mare Nostrum. A total of 11 bids were received for this phase of the project and the deadline for completion is July 20th.
The total cost of the project now exceeds €7 million. The seating, costing €117,432.60, was not included in the initial project.
