A crash scene involving three vehicles, a fire inside the Cerro Gordo tunnel on the N-340 and resulting in seven people being injured was simulated yesterday as part of an exercise organised by the Ministry of Interior.
It was all part of periodic drills carried out throughout Spain to test emergency protocols.
At the scene were around forty personnel from the Málaga Fire Consortium, the 061 and 112 Emergency Services, Guardia Civil and Local Police from Nerja and Almuñécar.
