The Mancomunidad de Municipios de la Costa del Sol Oriental-Axarquía (Commonwealth of the Axarquia) is expected to approve four new projects to be financed by the Junta de Andalucia under the Plan for Sustainable Tourism.
The value of these projects is €4.3 million and include work on Playa Fenicia in Vélez-Málaga, and the development and improvement of various ‘tourist routes, such as the ‘Minaret Route, Almohad Mosque Route and Mudejar Route.
