Six people were slightly injured early this morning in an explosion at the Guardia Civil Youth College in Valdemoro, Madrid.
The incident occurred at 09:15 at the Guardia Civil Youth College in Valdemoro, about seventeen kilometres from Madrid.
Officials have ruled out an attack as being the cause of the explosion. The base has a bomb disposal unit and it is thought that a haphazard or uncontrolled detonation could have been the cause of the explosion.
The blast caused a small fire but this was extinguished by 10:00 this morning.
