The Protección Civil have a new rescue boat, donated by the Nerja Caves Foundation.
The new boat, to replace the existing boat, is valued at €22,000. It was formally handed over at a ceremony attended by the Mayor, and vice-president of the Nerja Caves Foundation, José Alberto Armijo, the manager of the Foundation and opposition spokesman Ángel Ramírez, the Councillor for Beaches Jonathan Méndez and the Councillor for Protección Civil, Antonio Navas.
Wonder if the hand-over ceremony cost more than the boat….
