Europa League winners Atletico Madrid added the European Super Cup to their trophy cupboard with a 2-0 win over Champions League holders Inter Milan.
Jose Antonio Reyes gave Atletico the lead in Monaco after 62 minutes and then in the closing stages, Simao Sabrosa set up a simple tap-in for Sergio Aguero.
Inter were awarded a penalty in the final minute after Raul Garcia fouled Goran Pandev, but it was easily saved by Atletico keeper David de Gea.
