The new automatic bollards in Plaza Cavana are now fully operational and there are plans to install more throughout Nerja, such as in calle Pintada and calle Carabeo.
The bollard at the entrance to calle El Barrio will be permanently raised, only being lowered (by remote control) when access is required by the Emergency Services or Council workers.
The bollard at the entrance to calle Carmen will be lowered from 07:00 to 10:00 to allow for loading and unloading.
