The 19 wineries of the Serrania de Ronda are expecting to produce around 450,000 bottles of wine after a good harvest in the region.
Over 500,000 grapes were harvested this year and this will translate into around 450,000 bottles of wine, most of them red.
The 19 vineyards cover a total of 200 hectares of land and this year, the winter rains and summer sun have provided for a wine said to be very good to excellent quality, a high concentration of anthocyanins and tannins, good acidity and an average strength of around 14 degrees.
