Renovations to the mayoral offices in Caleta de Vélez are expected to be completed in November. This was announced by the Mayor of Vélez-Málaga, Salomé Arroyo (PSOE) after she and the Councillor for Infrastructure, Salvador Marín (IU), visited the site to check on progress.
The project, costing €140,000, involves the installation of a panoramic lift, improvements to the toilet facilities and other general repairs.
In addition, one of the rooms is being adapted to house a day centre and reading room for seniors.
