The ‘Punto Limpio’ (Rubbish Collection Point) in Rincón de la Victoria has collected over 4,600 tons of waste materials during 2010, an increase of 10% compared to last year.
Most of the waste, 3,950 tons (85%), was furniture and other household items. There was also 15,00 kilos of paper and cardboard, 410,000 kilos of plastic, 195,000 kilos of debris from the beaches and 48,000 kilos of metal.
