A survey carried out by Consumer-Eroski ranks the metro in Sevilla as one of the best in Spain based on general cleanliness, punctuality, safety, accessibility and provision of information.
The survey was carried out on the 31 metro lines and 23 tranvia tram systems operating in Spain, namely in La Coruña, Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Parla, Sevilla, Tenerife, Valencia, Vélez-Málaga and Vitoria.
Bilbao also rated very highly in the survey, with Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid being rated as ‘good’.
